Pawan Shankar plays the husband who ditches his wife to start life afresh with his ex-flame in Sony Entertainment Television's Kyaa Hua Tera Vaada, produced by Balaji Telefilms. In reality, Pawan is quite opposite to Pradeep, the character he plays. Shares Pawan, "This is the first time I am working with Balaji Telefilms and I feel Balaji is like an ocean. Pradeep as a husband is quite a complex character. I am nowhere similar to him in real life. However, the best part is that I get thousands of fan mails everyday stating Pradeep and Mona should unite, but thankfully I have not got any hate mails till now." He goes on, "You know what, I hate my character as he is way too confused. We make for a wonderful cast in Kyaa Hua. Mona is a fabulous co-star, actor and a thorough professional. She laughs all the time when I crack jokes. Mouli (Ganguly) is a great friend. I had once placed a bet with my production guys that Mona would laugh on hearing my joke. And I happened to win it as Mona had burst into laughter. Overall, we have a light and joyous atmosphere on the sets." Pawan, we also wish to see the different side of Pradeep as the story goes on.
