Prashant Bhatt and Sanjay Memane’s Studio B&M, as reported exclusively by Tellychakkar.com will come up with a family drama on Star Plus, post their success in the youth genre with Channel V’s Mastaangi.

Well, we have already reported about Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame Meher Vij playing the female lead on the show.

We now hear of the seasoned actor Pawan Shankar, who won all hearts as Siddhant initially and went on to be part of popular shows, making a comeback to TV with this show.

Yes, Pawan who was last seen in Ekta Kapoor’s Kyaa Hua Tera Vaada has been roped in as the male lead on the show.

As per reliable sources, “The yet untitled drama saga will talk about love, family and relations. Pawan and Meher Vij will play two professionally well-to-do individuals who would have passed their prime by taking care of their respective families. Their life will go through a sea-change when they will meet and get into a blossoming love journey.”

We hear that the cast and crew are on path to shoot the pilot.

When contacted, Pawan Shankar told us, “Well, I will want to remain silent on this. I hope you understand.”

Pawan has showcased his stunning calibre as an actor in shows like Siddhant, Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasmaan, Kasamh Se, Jeet Jayenge Hum, Vicky Ki Taxi, Kya Hua Tera Vaada.
