Niret Alva, co founder of Miditech, keeps super busy these days. Currently, he is shuttling between Delhi and Mumbai as he is tied up with the launch of the production house’s two upcoming shows, All Is Well on Colors and Live Out Loud on UTV Bindass.

All Is Well will hit the screens this Sunday (29 April) at 12 noon. It is basically a show based on the international format called, The Dr Oz Show. It will deal with diverse health issues in a light-hearted manner. Dr Sonu Ahluwalia, a famous orthopedic surgeon, has been given the responsibility to hold things together. It’s a unique concept and I thank Colors for promoting a show like All Is Well. Of and on, celebs like Salman Khan and Sania Mirza, will also come in to interact with the masses and the people present in the studio,” shares Niret with Tellychakkar.com.

Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate is also launching on Star Plus in the coming week (6 May 2012 at 11am). So is there any competition? “Well, the timings are different and we don’t know yet know what Aamir’s show is all about. But both the shows are different and hopefully will be liked by the masses.”

Talking about Miditech’s other show on Bindass, Live Out Loud, Niret shares, “It is a reality show based on couples. It has been shot on real locations. It will try to reconcile estranged couples. But it is very different from Emotional Atyachar. It is fun, actually.”

It does sound fun, Niret. The production house had lot of expectations with its series Survivor India. But it did not manage to gain the right numbers.

“Well, the show was authentic and I am proud of it. I have no regrets but the numbers. Then again, what could have gone wrong? The slot, timing, may be it should have aired everyday…I don’t know. We are discussing issues internally. But I am thankful to Star Plus for giving the nod to such a concept. We are having meetings and discussions regarding its season two.”

And he further continues, “I get a little frustrated at times with the way reality shows are getting manipulated. I have got feedback from people that they know a particular show is rigged, yet they watch it for fun. Viewers have started questioning the authenticity of reality shows. It is not good at all. I hope that things willchange for better in the future.”

Well, Niret…all the best with your new ventures!!!
