Pooja Banerjee celebrates Durga Puja and Navratri from the sets of Kumkum Bhagya

MUMBAI: Zee TV’s popular fiction show Kumkum Bhagya has been an audience favourite due to its intriguing plot and the authentic portrayal of relatable characters like Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia), Pragya (Sriti Jha), Rhea (Pooja Banerjee), Ranbir (Krishna Kaul) and Prachi (Mugdha Chapekar). Post lockdown, the show returned with fresh twists, giving the audience something exciting to look forward to. In fact, the show saw several new entries as well, including that of Pooja Banerjee who is seen playing the role of Rhea Mehra. Since her entry, she has created a lot of drama, especially in Ranbir, Prachi and Pragya's life.

Off screen, Pooja has also been bonding with the whole cast and with the festivities around, she has revealed how she plans to celebrate Navratri and Durga Puja with everyone on the set of Kumkum Bhagya. While the actress is upset that she will not be able to meet her family members and enjoy her mother's bhog this year, she understands the current scenario and is trying to make the most of it in her own unique way.

Pooja Banerjee who plays the role of Rhea in Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya revealed, "I am actually upset that I will not be able to celebrate Durga Puja and Navratri this year. I have been celebrating both these festivals since I was kid. In fact, I used to meet my family during these festivities too. However, because of the pandemic it won't be possible. So, I'll miss meeting my family members this year as well as my mother's bhog and the festive treats. We also organise our own Durga Pooja at our house in Delhi, but, I won't be able to attend that as well. I will even miss my pandal-hopping spree. However, I do understand that the pandemic has still not died down and it is wise not to step out at the moment. Meanwhile, I have devised my own way to celebrate the festivities. We are having a virtual Durga pooja from our home and I have been attending it online. I also celebrated Navratri with my Kumkum Bhagya co-stars on the set and we had a gala time."

While Pooja Banerjee celebrates Navratri and Durga Puja in her own unique way with the team of Kumkum Bhagya, wait and watch how Rhea brings a new twist in Abhi, Pragya, Ranbir and Prachi's life.
