The pretty and bubbly actress, Poonam Preet, of Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se and Ek Hasina Thi fame will now be seen in an interesting avatar on Zee TV’s Mela (Esselvision).

As reported by Tellychakkar.com, the new offering will be a ten-episodic miniseries celebrating the festivities of a 'mela'. With many Zee TV actors being a part of it, it's going to be one helluva treat for the audiences!

Poonam will be seen playing a fun role, similar to her characters from her previous shows. She will be the common link between all the other characters.

When we got in touch with Poonam, she shared, “Yes, I have been approached for the same. I haven’t yet had my meeting hence, cannot talk about it.”

The ‘Mela’ program is expected to hit the TV screens on April 27.
