It’s time to smile as we bring an update for the loyal viewers of Aakash Aath’s Ek Masher Golpo.  

As per our reliable source, the new story is a treat for all the literature lovers as it will showcase a story of Prafulla Roy titled ‘Ekhane Pinjar’. Manas Sett has directed the story and the screen writing has been done by Gita Biswas.

The story goes like this....

Nabyendu (Chandranabha), a prisoner at Bombay’s Andheri Police Station’s lock up, will meet Amalesh Basu (Debdoot Ghosh) unexpectedly. Nabyendu has earned a bad reputation for his anti-social activities and was banished from West Bengal’s Bijpur which was his birth place. The police have orders to shoot him the moment he is visible at his place.

However, there is a past of Nabyendu which will compel Amalesh to believe that he can be brought back to a decent lifestyle.  

During the unexpected meeting, a conversation will take place between the two men and Amalesh will discover that Nabyendu was a brilliant student. Nabyendu always aspired to lead an honest life but his life took a turn when he became a victim of circumstances. Instead of leading a decent life, he fell into the trap of the dark world of crime.

Knowing this sad story, Amalesh will decide to bring Nabyendu into the mainstream again and help him lead an honest life. He will request his friend Bijoy Falke, an inspector at Andheri Police Station, to lessen his days in prison to three months.

After serving his sentence, Nabyendu will meet Amalesh and plead him to find him a job. A completely reformed person now, he does not want to return to the world of crime again. But destiny had a different plan. Amalesh will fail to find a suitable job for him but Nabyendu has to send money to his family for financial support. Thus, losing all hope Nabyendu will re-enter into the dark world of crime. 

What happens to Nabyendu when he again returns to the dark world of crime? Will he survive in that gruesome world or will he land himself in the jail again?
