Pratyusha was not pregnant: Rahul Raj Singh

In a swift turn of events, the Pratyusha Banerjee death case has hit a crescendo with medical reports suggesting of her being pregnant before her death. Media went tizzy with reports also mentioning of the Balika Vadhu actress possibly ‘aborting’ her unborn days before committing suicide. It’s a scenario of abject grimness, a tale so sordid that it makes the toughest wail in despair. A pretty damsel, a television star, gone forever, thanks to convoluted happenings leading to battered and bruised emotions. The pregnancy buzz was raucous, to the extent of being scandalous. Conjectures were drawn, but the world waited for medical reports to validate. Now, it’s been confirmed by the medical officials. So young, so fragile, with a baby in womb, leading a radar less life, being forced to abort (probably) out of helplessness and desperation, finally ending her life. But here’s another twist to the tale. Pratyusha’s boyfriend, Rahul Raj Singh, at the centre of the storm, has given a media statement, which has again set the cat among the pigeons. Earlier in the day during his regular mandated visit to Bangur Nagar Police station (interim bail till 25 April, but has to pay visit to the cops everyday), when the stationed scribes asked him about Pratyusha’s pregnancy, a visibly dismayed Rahul said: “It’s false. Pratyusha was not pregnant. Since she was not pregnant, there’s no question of abortion.” Rahul’s words resonated as he was whisked way by the men of law. So is he saying the truth or resorting to cheap thrills to wriggle out of the entire case? Is there more than meets the eye? What really happened to Pratyusha? Questions are plenty, answers few. Only time will reveal the absolute truth. Till then, keep reading Tellychakkar.com for more updates.
