MUMBAI: Actress Priyamvada Kant gained immense love with her stint in shows like The Buddy Project, Tenali Rama, Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala and many more. The actress who is also a dancer has also won MTV Splitsvilla Season 12.

As reported exclusively by us, Priyamvada recently joined the cast of television’s popular supernatural show Naagin which is currently airing its fifth season featuring Surbhi Chandna, Mohit Sehgal and Sharad Malhotra in the lead roles.

Priyamvada is playing the role of the princess of sky named Chandni. She happens to be Veer’s (Sharad) childhood friend and would decide to get married to him.

Well, not many would know, Priyamvada started her career with Balaji Telefilms’ Bairi Piya and exactly after a decade , the actress has bagged a Ekta Kapoor’s show. She shared, “Yes, after 10 long years I am doing a show with Balaji Telefilms. They approached me saying it’s a guest appearance and if I am interested to do it. I took it up as I really liked the character of Chandni. She is extremely powerful and beautiful. Also, Naagin is such an amazing show and every actor would like to be part of it. I always wanted to work with Balaji but things never worked out and now that when something worked materialized, I decided to do it. For the first time I took up a fantasy-based show and it’s fun to shoot.”
