MUMBAI: Star Plus' supernatural drama Nazar will soon witness a new twist in the show.

The show depicts how years after being chased into the forest, Mohana, an evil and powerful witch, returns to terrorise the Rathore family and targets their young son, Ansh.

Nazar will now spice up the drama with a new entry in the form of Priyamvada Singh. She will play the character of Nency in the show, who is a mermaid hunter primarily.

To know more about her role, we contacted Priyamvada, who confirmed doing the show. She elaborated, 'I am thrilled to be a part of this show and the character is also very interesting. I play a greedy woman who is on the hunt for pearls, which can make her wealthy. She will be seen hunting mermaids to gain possession of those pearls. On the whole, I will be seen in many shades such as humorous and witty and not only negative.'
