Producers of Sanskriti... Maverick Productions and Anahita Creations have a fall out over creative differences?

Swapna Waghmare Joshi and Anuj Saxena
The show, Sanskriti, with some big names, on Colors to be produced jointly by Anuj Saxena’s Maverick Productions and Swapna Waghmare Joshi and renowned cameraman Sanjay Memane’s Anahita Creations has been the talk of the town for some time now. The unit was supposed to leave for their outdoor schedule to USA in the month of September (2012) but things did not happen on time. The show went through a delay as there were certain conceptual changes that the channel wanted the makers to implement. When all was done, and things were about to roll after the muhurat shoot had happened few days back (before the shraddh period commenced), but the latest buzz is that the production houses involved in the project have had a fall out due to creative differences. Inside sources confirm that Sanjay Memane, Swapna Waghmare Joshi’s partner and Anuj Saxena apparently got into a fight over some creative differences, and this eventually created a jolt in the show’s progress. However, Anuj Saxena was spotted (after the fight) at the birthday celebration of Swapna Waghmare Joshi’s daughter recently, which indicated to one and all that everything has fallen in place. Having said this, yet another reliable source from the industry claims that as a result of the differences, Maverick Productions has apparently opted out of the show. And Swapna and Sanjay are in the process of looking out for another producer to join hands with them. When Tellychakkar.com contacted Anuj Saxena, he rubbished the news and said, “There’s nothing like that. We are still together in producing the show.” We tried to call Swapna Waghmare Joshi and Sanjay Memane and even dropped text messages, but we did not get any revert till the time of filing the article. For the uninitiated, Sanskriti has Jay Soni, Yashashri Masurkar, Shamin Mannan as the main cast, while both Anuj Saxena and Swapna Waghmare Joshi were touted to play important roles. Given the nature of the industry, we just hope things have not gone sour between the production houses, and they do bring to the fray their next offering, Sanskriti. (Maverick Productions and Anahita Creations are jointly producing Devyani for Star Pravah.)
