MUMBAI: With his hard work, now he has become a popular face of the entertainment industry. He came into prominence with reality shows, and his latest project is a youth-based show. Yes, we are talking about Priyank Sharma, who enjoys a huge fan following.  

Splitsvilla and Bigg Boss fame Priyank acted in Vikas Gupta's Puncch Beat. He earned praises for his acting in the show. Now he will be seen in a full-fledged fiction show, for which the fitness freak took up an arduous fitness regime.         

Speaking about the same, the actor said to a leading daily, “I was always a fitness enthusiast and was in a decent lean shape earlier. I met with an injury and the medications led me to put on some seven kilos. When I was offered this role, I thought that it is a make-or-break opportunity for me. To prepare myself for the role, I am on a no-roti, no-sugar diet for a month. I have reduced my intake of sugar and salt to a great extent and drink two litres of water a day. But there are cheat days as well once in every eight days. It’s been a tough journey, but I’m overwhelmed with the response I’m getting so far. I’ve worked hard to get this far and I just want to give my best because there’s no such thing as a free lunch.”

He further shared with the publication that it’s not easy to maintain such a physique for long and he is consistently trying to not stray, and maintain his six-pack abs.
