From playing a typical ‘Mama’s boy and loyal husband’ in Rajshri Productions’ Do Hanson Ka Jodaa, actor Nivaan Sen has successfully managed to win many a hearts with his negative portrayal of Saahil in Rajshri’s successful Star Plus show, Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara. With the show coming to an end now, to make way for Ashutosh Gowariker’s Everest, Nivaan expresses his gratitude and love to the entire cast and crew of Pyaar Ka Dard. Says Nivaan, “My character of Saahil, the main mastermind behind the kidnap of the protagonist Pankhuri (Disha Parmar) saw quite a lot of shades. He started off as a negative person, but ended up being positive, as he returned the Lakshmi of the house by turning himself down to the police along with his gang. This character has given me a lot of attention and appreciation from my peers.” “It was an absolutely interesting and challenging character to essay for me, after having played a very different role in Rajshri Productions’ earlier show, Do Hanson Ka Jodaa. It was a great experience to work with the prestigious Rajshri again; they are a part of my family now. Nakkul Mehta, Disha Parmar, my other co-stars and the entire crew were amazing to work with. Nivaan who began his career as one of the runners-up of the talent show, Zee Cine Stars Ki Khoj has been part of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Khote Sikkey, in addition to Do Hanson Ka Jodaa.
