MUMBAI: Who said the pandemic put a dent on the wedding scene? I mean look at the list of Bollywood and Television celebs who got married and took the wedding vows amid the pandemic. 

As we are inching closer to year-end, we bring to you the list of TV celebs who have tied the knot and are currently soaking in the marital bliss. Celebs like Neha Kakkar And Rohanpreet Singh, Shaheer Sheikh And Ruchikaa Kapoor, Aditya Narayan And Shweta Agarwal among many others gave us glimpses from their d-day.

Neha Kakkar And Rohanpreet Singh: Neha and Rohan tied the knot amidst the ongoing Coovid-19 pandemic on October 30, 2020, followed by two receptions, which were graced by the couple’s very close friends. Soon after their wedding in October, Neha Kakkar and Rohanpreet Singh jetted-off to Dubai to enjoy their honeymoon. Neha is currently judging Indian Idol 12, along with Himesh Reshammiya and Vishal Dadlani. This morning, the couple announced their pregnancy on social media and congratulatory messages can’t seem to stop. 

Shaheer Sheikh And Ruchikaa Kapoor: After generating curiosity around themselves, TV actor Shaheer Sheikh announced his wedding with show producer Ruchikaa Kapoor through an adorable post. After announcing their engagement, Shaheer Sheikh and Ruchikaa Kapoor tied the knot on November 27. The couple, who opted for a registry marriage, had shared a picture standing outside the courtroom. 

Aditya Narayan And Shweta Agarwal: Popular singer and renowned singer Udit Narayan’s son Aditya Narayan married his sweetheart on December 1. Owing to COVID-19 constraint, Aditya and Shweta took wedding vows at ISKCON Temple, Juhu. The Narayans then hosted an intimate bash, pictures of which took social media by storm. Just a day back, Aditya shared the first picture from their honeymoon in Kashmir. A few days back, the actor and reality show host was seen teasing his wife during Pheli Rasoi ritual.

Puja Banerjee And Kunal Verma: Puja and Kunal made the lockdown rather intense when they announced their wedding. During the first lockdown, due to COVID-19, Puja and Kunal ditched traditional weddings and opted for a court marriage. The couple got married legally on April 15, the same day they were supposed to tie the knot conventionally. However, 6 months later, Puja and Kunal shared another good news when they welcomed their baby boy. The couple met each other on the sets of Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna and have been in the relationship for 12 years now.

Niti Taylor And Parikshit Bawa: Niti surprised one and all when she announced her wedding after 2 months of taking the vows. After exchanging rings in February last year, Parikshit and Niti tied the knot on August 13. However, on 6th October, Niti shared the good news with fans leaving them perplexed. Sharing a video, Niti had captioned it, “My journey from Miss to Mrs is complete. I'd like to share with all my well-wishers that I tied the knot with Parikshit on 13 August 2020. We had a very small, quiet and intimate wedding with just our parents, aka, Covid wedding. I can finally say out loud 'Hello Husband', making my own happiness in 2020!! Also, I'm announcing this late because we were hoping that the Covid-19 pandemic would die down sooner and we could celebrate in a big way - but hoping for a better 2021 (sic).”. Parikshit Bawa is an Indian Army Captain.

Manish Raisinghan And Sangeita Chauhaan: Amid the lockdown, Sasural Simar Ka fame Manish Raisinghan tied the knot with Ek Shringaar - Swabhiman actor Sangeita Chauhan. The couple got hitched in an Anand Karaj ceremony at a Gurudwara in Mumbai on June 30. For the unversed, Manish and Sangeita met on the sets of Ek Shringaar -Swabhimaan two years ago and fell in love. For their D-Day, the lovebirds were seen twinning in pink. While Manish looked dapper in a pink kurta teamed with plum jacket, Sangeita made for the prettiest bride in a pink Patiala dress. The netizens couldn’t keep calm as pictures of their wedding were all over the Internet. Owing to the pandemic, newlyweds chose to stay at home and ditch their honeymoon for now.

Sana Khan And Mufti Anas: Former actress Sana Khan married Surat-based businessman Anas Saiyad on 20th November. Two days after taking the wedding vows, Sana made it official on social media by dropping the first pictures from their Nikah. The Jai Ho actress looked every bit dreamy in a pink lehenga and green Sharara which she sported for another wedding function. Soon after their wedding, Anas and Sana dashed off to Kashmir for the honeymoon and their pictures are pure bliss. More than a month before her wedding, Sana surprised one and all by announcing her withdrawal from films.   

Gauahar Khan And Zaid Darbar: It’s a winter wedding for Gauahar and Zaid. The couple tied the knot on Christmas, this year. Last month, the couple made the announcement on social media leaving all of us in awe. Ahead of their wedding, the couple unveiled their pre-wedding photos which were too adorable to miss. Rumours of Gauhar’s wedding sparked soon after she appeared on Bigg Boss 14 alongwith Sidharth Shukla and Hina Khan.
