MUMBAI: Rajeev Khandelwal is a powerhouse of talent who has worked in television shows as well as films. He made his debut with the show Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat and then went on to feature in soaps like Kahiin To Hoga, Time Bomb 9/11, and Left Right Left to name a few.

The actor garnered appreciations for his performance in films like Aamir, Table No 21, Samrat & Co, Shaitan etc. No doubt the actor has proved his mettle as an actor, but interestingly, it was his own failure on stage that inspired him to become an actor.

He told Indian Express, “I went up on stage and couldn’t perform beyond 30 or 40 seconds. I was booed away. I didn’t know how to show my face. It is more like salvaging my lost pride then when I was a tiny tot actually. I was in class 4. I told myself that I will become an actor, but then that was more out of childishness or whatever. But it always stayed with me. So, probably my whole life is kind of redemption of sorts because of that failure.”

Speaking about his upcoming project, Rajeev Khandelwal will be next seen in a web series called Cold Lassi Aur Chicken Masala. The web series will star him opposite popular television actress Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya.
