SAB TV’s show Chidiya Ghar has managed to strike a chord amongst the masses within few months of its launch. And its characters, Gadha Prasad, Ghotak or even Mayuri, are being loved and liked by one and all.

Now, Rajendra Gupta, who plays the role of Bauji in Chidiya Ghar, is always seen running away from his servant Gadha Prasad’s (Jitu Shivhare) stupidities. Recently, he was chased with the same stupidities in real life also. While having dinner with family and friends at a restaurant, he ordered for lemonade (nimboo paani). A young boy who was sitting on a table next to him decided to serve him even before the waiter could. He came up with a glass of water and put a whole lemon into it. The young boy while offering the glass said, “Bauji, yeh lijiye nimboo paani”.

Actually, the young boy has been following the show closely and imitated Gadha Prasad’s stupidities.

Rajendra was completely stumped by the boy’s act and could not hold his laughter. But given his generosity, he took the incident in great spirits and even spent some quality time with the kid.

Speaking on the incident, Rajendra Gupta said, “All that I could say to that young boy was, ‘Hari Om’, the exact same way I react to Gadha Prasad. It’s great to see the love and appreciation that I have been receiving across India from various age groups.”

It is always a great experience when reel life blends with real life!!!
