Stand-up comedy shows have become an integral part of most Hindi GECs (and big news for regional news channels.) Surprisingly, NDTV Imagine didn't have one earlier but they've now made amends big time. Imagine has roped in the most popular stand-up artist Raju Srivastav for their upcoming comedy show produced by Endemol. A reliable source informs, "Raju will soon be doing a stand-up show for Imagine called Raju Hazir Ho. Every episode will have a theme. Raju will be accompanied by two girls whose identity is still unknown." Confirming the news, Endemol India Country Head Deepak Dhar says, "Yes, we're producing Raju Hazir Ho for Imagine. For other details such as time slot, duration you'll have to speak to Imagine." We called up Imagine's Programming Head Shailja Kejriwal but she was busy in a meeting. Raju Srivastav was unavailable for comment.
