We all know of how Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor loves dodging questions concerning his romantic status! However in the upcoming episode of Star Verdict with Anupama Chopra, this weekend, you will see him take these questions head on and has even responded with “I am single till I get married.” The actor who is constantly linked to many co-stars and is popular for his charming persona, is his entertaining best on Star Verdict, where he is joined by his father Rishi Kapoor fielding all the questions put forth by Anupama. Junior Kapoor, who is considered no less than the youngest superstar, is currently nervous but pumped in for his latest release that hits the theatres soon. Father Rishi Kapoor on the other hand has a lot of faith in his son, and proudly says “Ranbir has his own unique signature acting style – and doesn’t imitate anyone, not his own father or any other actor.” To which Ranbir adds, “I have learnt some wonderful little things from my father – such as always pay your own laundry bill when you travel or always pay for your meal or drink wherever you go. This has taken me a long way,” says Ranbir Kapoor. The episode will also reveal some lesser known details about Ranbir as he admits to being reserved and with a non-expressive nature. “When my films don’t do well, I feel bad but I try not to harp on it so that it doesn’t affect the next film I am working on. I am also not expressive as a person and I don’t show my emotions easily.” He seems to be working on the right attitude for success, but despite a lot of praise for his acting career and his professional approach to work, Junior Kapoor doesn’t wish to be categorized as a superstar. The reason, he says, is simple. “You are insulting them by clubbing me in the same category. The status of a superstar comes after consistent good work for decades – in acting, and in many other things. I need to still get there. I will for sure, but in time.” Well according to us that’s a true quality of a real star! The episode will air tonight at 7pm.
