Rathore to play the "cute cupid" in Colors' Uttaran

Gaurav Chopraa
Since sometime, Raguvendra Pratap Rathore has been a saviour to all in Colors’ Uttaran (Filmfarm productions). However this time down the line, he will play the cupid. As seen so far, it was he who brought Mukta (Sreejita De) and Vishnu (Ajay Chaudhary) together again. And if sources are to be believed, he will also try getting Meethi (Tina Dutta) closer to Akash (Mrunal Jain) during the engagement ceremony of his daughter Mukta. As a father Rathore (Gaurav Chopraa) will throw a grand engagement party for both Vishnu and Mukta. Akash too will attend this ceremony. Amidst the celebration, Rathore will try talking to Damini (Vaishali Thakkar) about Meethi and Akash; however, he will fail to convince her. Therefore, he will decide on getting Meethi closer to Akash himself. As per the earlier episodes, Meethi has been maintaining a safe distance from Akash because of her grandmother Damini. Thus, now the viewers will witness a sweet and romantic moment between Meethi and Akash in a dance sequence where Rathore will push Meethi towards Akash after which they will have a romantic moment together. Furthermore, the two pairs Vishnu-Mukta and Rathore-Tapasya (Rashmi Desai) will dance on Teri Zhuki Nazar from Murder 3 while the ladies in the house will be seen dancing on the Navari Maajhi number from English Vinglish. When we contacted Gaurav, he confirmed the same and said, “The atmosphere in the Thakur family hasn’t been a very happy one of late with Meethi having divorced Vishnu. Thus, to ease the mood and get Akash and Meethi together, Rathore will play the cute cupid this time. He has been angry but in control of things on various occasions, but this time he is a cute man who wants the love birds to stay together.” Keep reading this space for more updates on Uttaran!!!
