A new show titled Jury will soon be telecast on the newly launched channel India News. A patriotic show it stars veteran actors Raza Murad and Tom Alter. The show is produced by Vinod Sharma and directed by Ravindra Peepat. As the show is going to be telecast on a news channel, it is not a regular show. Jury is the channel’s own show and has a very different format. The show is expected to be telecast by the end of July. Veteran actor Raza Murad narrated, “I am playing the role of a lawyer who is curious to know the reasons behind the atrocities committed on Indians by the British. I research on the said events and then call Tom Alter to India from Britain. Tom Alter plays the role of a British lawyer who is also a historian. It is a court room drama some what like Aap Ki Adaalat.” As Indian viewers have watched many a show based on the freedom movement we hope Jury has something unique to offer.
