&TV’s Begusarai is all set to undergo a revamp. Post leap, the show will now focus on new five male leads and their love interest. While Vishal Aditya Singh, Manish Naggdev, Parichay Sharma, newbies Ankit Singh, Mukul Singh will play the male leads, Veebha Anand, will be paired opposite them.

But before these developments, the daily will see Poonam (Shivangi Joshi)-Lakhan (Vishal Aditya Singh) dying in the daily.

As per a reliable source, “Komal (Rati Pandey) will kidnap Poonam and keep her in an isolated place. When Lakhan will learn about Poonam being in trouble, he would go ahead to rescue her. Once there, Komal will point her gun towards Lakhan and shoot him. The heavily pregnant Poonam will run towards Lakhan to save him and fall down.”

In the hospital, Poonam will then deliver her baby and breathe her last. Lakhan on the other hand, will die with the bullet shot.

Post leap, audience will see Shweta Tiwari aka Bindiya in a new avatar. Bindiya will become Begum Sarai (Mahathakurain). Her character is said to be inspired from Madhuri's character in Gulaab Gang and Supriya Pathak's in Ram Leela. Bindiya aka Mahathakurian will rule over the village. She will be seen taking care of the five sons of the family.
