MUMBAI: Among the plethora of supernatural shows on-air and set to air on television, one show which is garnering a lot of attention is Zee TV’s upcoming show, Manmohini.

There is a lot of buzz about the show and is said to have a strong script. So do you want to know what the story of Manmohini is all about?

Well, Manmohini is the story of a girl called Manmohini (as obvious as it sounds). She is madly and deeply in Ram (Ankit Siwach) and has waited for more than 500 years for him. Ram lives an elite life in London and happens to visit India. He takes off on a small tour to admire the charms of the country and lands in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.

Manmohini, who have been craving to meet Ram all these years finally sees him and tries all the evil tactics to woo Ram. However, protecting him will be Dai Maa!

Who is Dai Maa?

Now, this lady is someone who her family adores and loves dearly. But what her family does not know is that she is also a witch and has been protecting the family for more than 200 years! A good witch to combat the evil Manmohini, for all we can guess!

While this remains the base premise of the show, there are other characters such as Vivian, who will conspire with his mother to attain the property of the family by spite. However, he will go to the extent of selling his soul to the demon to achieve what he wants. 

The characters are dark and Manmohini seems to be driven by fiery supernatural content which is sure to grip the audience!
