Yesterday (14 September 2012) afternoon there was a bomb scare at a suburban mall and multiplex. The entire complex had to be evacuated leading to chaos and confusion. One such unfortunate victim was our tellywood actress Ridheema Tiwari who had gone to check out the latest Bollywood blockbuster Barfi’s 12.45 show. Shared Ridheema, “The interval had just got over and then within five minutes of the film resuming, the lights just came back on. We were asked to empty the cinema hall immediately. Total pandemonium broke loose and people started running out helter shelter. Women were seen holding to their husbands and kids in fear. Being an actor I always observe my surroundings. And I was left wondering what would have really happened had there really been an explosion.” She went on, “When we came outside there was a huge crowd gathered and I wonder why Indians just love to watch. Don’t these guys have any other better work to do? This extra wayside crowd caused a huge traffic jam at an important city intersection for hours on end.” Ridheema, who is currently a part of Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage on Sony Entertainment Television further stated, “This morning (15) I went to the mall to collect my refund money. We had been told yesterday itself that please save your tickets for refund. Normally I would have not bothered about such a small amount but the recent rises in fuel prices have forced all of us to be a bit more careful about money. I wonder what makes people do such stupid things, even the mall suffered huge losses.” So what about Barfi? “Sadly I missed it yesterday but today I am going back to my home town and will surely check it out there.”
