News has already reached every nook and corner of the world about the sad and untimely demise of one of the finest actors in Hollywood, Michael Clarke Duncan. As per media reports this beefy Oscar-nominated actor renowned for his performance in The Green Mile breathed his last on Monday. He was 54.
Duncan was hospitalized in Los Angeles since July after suffering a heart attack.
In his early days, Duncan moved to Los Angeles in the early-1990s. He was born and raised in Chicago. He wanted to make it big in the world of acting but prior to realizing his dream, this 6-foot-4, 300-pound man worked as a bodyguard for actors including Will Smith and LL Cool J.
After sharing screen space with Smith in Armageddon, Duncan rose to great heights of popularity with his stint as John Coffey, a sensitive and supernaturally gifted man on death row, in The Green Mile. The movie also starred Tom Hanks.
His other noted movies include The Whole Nine Yards, Daredevil, Planet of the Apes and Sin City. He also had a wonderful time entertaining fans on television with shows like Chuck, Two and a Half Men and CSI: NY under his credit.
His death has sent her colleagues and admirers into mourning. May his soul rest in peace!!
