Rishina Kandhari to play double role in Sony TV's CID

Rishina Kandhari

Sony Entertainment Television’s CID (Fireworks Productions) is all set to enter the league of the double role drama by shooting an episodic with Rishina Kandhari. The actor was last seen in Life OK’s Savitri.

Rishina plays a double role in the show, namely - Sheena as the culprit and Avantika as the victim.

A source informs us that the story is about a poor girl, Sheena, who always dreams of living a luxurious life. She comes in contact with Avantika, who is married to an affluent guy Kunal. Incidentally, Sheena and Avantika will be lookalikes.

Going by the situational drama, Avantika will get kidnapped and Sheena will pose as Avantika.

Rishina speaking about her role said, “I am pretty kicked about my character and I really enjoy doing episodics as they add more diversity to an actor’s aptitude. I agree that there is a clutter in portraying double roles but I feel it all depends on what your script holds for you.’

The episode is scheduled to air on 12 October (2013).
