Colors’ popular show Udann (Guruodev Bhalla and Dhaval Gada) is all set to bring an interesting angle to its storyline wherein a female goon will be shown leading the gang that works on the human trafficking business.

As reported earlier by Tellychakkar.com, Shama Deshpande was to play the character of Madamji, the new villain in the series. But the deal did not fructify and now talented actor Roma Bali (Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane) will be seen donning the avatar in the coming days.

Shared a source, “Things could not work out with Shama and thus the makers decided to get Roma in the performance oriented role. Although the actress is known for her sweet roles, this character will bring out the best out of her.”

Madamji will be a completely negative character who would be strong and mean. Even Bhaiyaji (Sai Ballal) would work on her orders. The woman will have a different aura and charm and her addition, will add a lot more flavours to the tale.

When we buzzed Roma she confirmed the same and said, “I am really excited for this role as I have always done goody roles and this seems like a challenge. I have always been interested in characters that are different and add variety to my list of work. I am eager to see how people react to my new avatar.”

Roma has already started shooting and her entry will air in the coming days.
