But did you know that she has a penchant for dance. In fact, she was an assistant to choreographer Pony Verma for quite some time before joining the television industry. “I just love dancing and a very intense dancer. I took up choreography with Pony Verma and learned a lot from her,” revealed Roopal. And she thinks, she is a better dancer than choreographer. But what made her switch to acting? “Over time, I realized that didn’t want to choreograph all my life,” added the star. That’s when she thought of giving acting a shot. And now that she is loving every bit of it, “Television soaps are my priority now. And I think I am a better actor than a dancer,” revealed Roopal. Off late, Roopal Tyagi has been rumored to be the leading lady in Shakuntalam’s next offering tentatively titled, Gunjan Roli. However, Roopal refused to speak on the same: “I got into trouble as indiaforums.com carried a story on the show.”And Roopal had a hard time convincing the producers that she didn’t comment at all. “I will definitely reveal all the details, only when the time is right, but spare me for now,” ended Roopal.
