Rucha Gujarati is on a sabbatical. She is not just enjoying her break but also on the look out for something good. After opting out from her own show Bhabhi on Star Plus, she is busy looking out for a good and meaty role on television as well as in films. “I keep getting offers. I don’t like to ask for work. I take my own time to pick and choose. Currently I’m going through some scripts for television as well as films and hoping that something good turns up soon,” says Rucha. So what is your priority- television or films? “Both. I’m looking for good opportunities in both the mediums. It depends on what is offered first. If I take up a film obliviously it has to be a lead role. Or at least a well- defined character with a twist in the tale.” Currently Rucha is busy getting back in shape. “I’m working on my body and hitting the gym everyday. Beside that I’m also little conscious about my diet. While doing daily shows I did not get time to pamper myself. Now that I’m holidaying why not use this chance to work on my looks.” And post her makeover we are sure producers will line up at her doorstep
