In a recent interview, both Sudhanshu and Rupali revealed the main reason why Anupama is a hit show and what the audiences connected to.

Sudhanshu said that the story is about a middle-class family which are the larger audiences in our country and the viewers connect to every character in the Shah family and it's so real and relatable and the show is done wonders for the cast and crew.

On the other hand, Rupali said that she feels that she shows is so successful is because of the character Anupama that reminds people of their mothers, she symbolizes every mother in the house and how she is with their kinds. The character is so real that every viewer connects to her.
