The bubbly and vivacious Sana Amin Sheikh, who has made a mark in the world of TV with her acting talent is also a pro behind the mike. Yes, as most of you know that the young girl, who is currently seen in Gustakh Dil (Ravi Ojha Productions) on Life OK has been a RJ with Radio Mirchi much before she started her career as an actor. And after a two-year hiatus, she is back with her popular show TRP- Television Radio Par which she claims is her forte. “I think am most comfortable with this show since I like doing chat shows and added to that it is also related with TV. I have earlier hosted Sana Mornings and Purani Jeans, but due to my shooting hours, it wasn’t getting possible to do live shows so often.” Talking about the show Sana adds, “It’s basically a chat show with popular TV stars; it will be on air every Sunday from 3 to 6 pm. And my first guest this season was my very dear friend and popular actor Shaheer Sheikh. Though the telephonic interview was really fun, both of us were really nervous before the show.” We got in touch with Shaheer also and asked him about his experience. “Well, it was definitely a great experience. The day I came to Mumbai, I met Sana; so she is my first friend here. But I was really nervous but am glad that we managed to bring out a good show,” Shaheer quipped. You were nervous despite the fact that both of you are very confident as actors? “I don’t know why, but I am always scared before radio interviews. And since I was awfully scared of spoiling her show, I gave in all my efforts to make it a hit. I did not want anything to go wrong because of me and thus the nervousness,” he smilingly answered. Going back to Sana, the girl has a long list of actors she wishes to get on her show. “As of now Ram Kapoor, Sakshi Tanwar and Mohit Raina top the list. And I would also love to have Meghna Malik, my mother-in-law from my show. I really look up to her dedication towards work and would like to have her as my next guest,” she revealed. Sana says that she keeps on updating her listeners and fans through her Facebook and Twitter accounts and will also take their suggestions for her guest list. When we quizzed her on when would she have her co-star Vibhav Roy on the show, she averred, “Very soon! I have nothing against the newcomers, but want people who have been in the industry for long as my guests at least in the initial episodes. But since Vibhav is a great guy and immensely dedicated towards his work, I will really like to have him soon on the show.” Great work Sana, and we hope you shine in the days to come with your shows; both on radio and on TV.
