The curly-haired wonder Priyanshu Jora, who mesmerised us with his realistic performance in 24, is back as the lead on Star Plus’ Tu Mera Hero (Shashi Sumeet Productions Pvt Ltd).

Priyanshu is all set to create magic and Tellychakkar.com spoke to the guy about the show, his character, 24 and lot more.

Talking about the show, the actor said, "Firstly, I feel I have been lucky to have got one of the biggest launch parties for the show. My parents had flown down from Delhi and my friends were also there, it was an overall overwhelming experience for me,” quipped the excited boy.

Talking about his role, Priyanshu shared, "Titu is lazy and doesn’t like working, he is a very smart guy who never lets his laziness bring a setback in his life. Even if he doesn't work, he has the charm and flair to get his work done easily. He has a very different take on life and is a very lovable guy. Also, he is a born performer who is the centre of attraction at gatherings. He can mimic and act and that adds to his overall personality.”

This would also mark a very different personality from what he projected in 24. “I was lucky to have got my break with 24 and then follow up with a solo hero project like this, which is a different kick all together. I was definitely lucky to have got a chance to work with stalwarts like Anil Kapoor in my first project and here, this character gives me a chance to portray so many layers. Titu is a personality that would be remembered by all,” he said.

Priyanshu, who will be making a mark as a ‘young’ lead in GEC among all bahus, sounded excited about this fact too. “Our show’s target audience is not just the housewife but also young people who want to watch enjoyable stuff on TV. A youth-centric fresh show on GEC is not a usual practice and I am sure the beautiful show will reach out to all.”

How would Priyanshu impress a girl?

"I always believe that one should never pretend. I am a straight forward guy and believe in putting no extra effort to impress someone. That I think is the beauty of any relationship. One should always be their self, that’s how a relationship works.”

When we spoke about his team, the young gun shared, “I think I am lucky to always team up with some wonderful people. I have always been patient with the kind of projects that I wanted to do and I think that worked in my favour!”

And finally, when we asked him about his co-star Sapna Pabbi’s debut movie Khamoshiyan, Priyanshu quipped, “I loved it and I think she is looking hot in the promo.”
