Second season of Life OK's Khauff to see genre change; Samir Soni to discontinue

Khauff Begins Ringa Ringa Roses
Life OK’s show, Khauff Begins Ringa Ringa Roses, produced by Somersault Productions performed miserably at the ratings and popularity front. Starring Samir Soni and having a supernatural plot, the show never really managed to carve a niche for itself. Thus, its first season was wrapped up, with the plan of returning with season 2, having a better concept and execution plans in place. Now, as per reports, the show will soon hit screens on Life OK, but major changes have been brought in at the creative level. “There will be a genre shift. Instead of horror the channel and the maker have decided to go with the thriller genre in the second season. The show will also see a title change, will have an episodic format and last season’s lead Samir Soni will not continue being a part of the project,” said a source. As per a reliable source, the creative team is currently busy working on the show. And if everything falls in place they will go on-floors on 8 March 2014. “The title is yet to be decided and the show should go on air by end of March or starting of April,” the above source added. When contacted Producer Majid Azam he said, “Yes, we are coming up with the second season but it’s too early to talk about it.” On buzzing Samir, he said, “I am not a part of Khauff this time.” So did he opt out of the show? “No, it's just that this time they are having episodics. There is no continuous story, hence the move out.” We also tried contacting channel head Ajit Thakur but he remained unavailable. Keep reading Tellychakkar.com for more updates!!!
