The time has gone when Bollywood and television actors didn't bother about their bodies as much. But now it’s all about ripped and sexy six or eight packs abs. The latest actor to join this gang is Arjunfame Shaleen Malhotra. He has worked hard to attain eight packs abs. Since he is also the captain of BCL’s Pune Anmol Ratn team, his ripped body was definitely needed, eh? He shared, “It’s been four months that I am on a strict diet. I have been eating only boiled vegetables and avoiding junk and oily food. No carbs and no milk and sweets. It is said that abs is made in kitchen and not in a gym. It’s 60 percent of your diet and 40 percent of your workout. One should lead a much disciplined life.” He continued, “Early morning before sunrise, I go for a brisk walk for cardio. My house is located uphill so half an hour walk is a lot for me. I make sure to go to the gym at least five days in a week. I focus on my high intensity workout like weight lifting.” So did Shah Rukh Khan inspire him to build eight pack abs? “I really salute Shah Rukh that at the age of 50 he managed to get proper eight packs abs for Happy New Year. But personally, my fitness heroes are Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan," he said. Do you think a good body is an important factor for an actor than acting itself? “Obviously, acting comes first. But also being fit is equally important. I never had abs before but I have always been fit and healthy," he said. Lastly, any tips that you would like to share with our viewers?
