Shalini Arora joins the cast of Colors’ Swabhimaan

Talented and seasoned actress Shalini Arora who was last seen in shows Diya Aur Baati Hum and Bhagyalakshmi is the next name to join Rajshri Productions’ upcoming show on Colors.

Titled ‘Swabhimaan’, the story as reported by us will be about two sisters.

Shalini has been roped in to play the maternal aunt of the lead girls, played by Ankita Sharma and newbie Sangeeta Chauhan (as reported by us).

As per sources, “The lady would have given shelter to the two girls and her widowed sister-in-law, played by Prachi Shah. She will be a very practical woman, who would be straight forward in thoughts and speech.”

We hear that Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi fame actor Jitendra Trehan will also be part of the show. He will play the husband of the character Shalini will essay.

We tried reaching out to Shalini, but could not connect with her.

As exclusively reported by us, Swabhimaan on Colors has roped in a great cast which includes Paintal, Prachi Shah, Suchitra Pillai, Vinay Jain, Sahil Uppal.

The show is slated to launch on Colors in December.
