Actor-dancer Shantanu Maheshwari, who needs no introduction when it comes to dancing, is currently shaking legs on the stage of celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (Colors).

In a candid chat with Tellychakkar.com, Shantanu reveals more about his further plans and his journey so far...

Shantanu shares with us, “It’s been a good journey so far, full of ups and downs. It takes a lot of efforts and hard work to be a part of reality shows and especially a one like Jhalak. You have to make sure that everyone sees your journey as a dancer and you have to improve as well. I am trying to do my best and I have polished my dancing skills. That was one of the reasons why I joined Jhalak.”

Talking about the challenges on the series, he says, “The whole journey has been the toughest part. It was quite difficult to juggle between MTV Girls on Top and Jhalak. Balancing the timings by doing two shows together was challenging.”

When we ask Shantanu about what he plans to do post Jhalak, he shares with us, “I will try to be at both the places…dancing and acting. I haven’t planned anything in particular. I do want to open an academy where we can train dancers, especially the underprivileged ones.”

“I am doing my best and focusing on all my performances,” signs off Shantanu.
