Sharad Kelkar talks about a doctor's stressful life

Sharad Kelkar is quite happy with the fact that the makers (Director’s Kut) of his show on Sony Entertainment Television, Kuch Toh Log Kahenge are focusing equally on the domestic and hospital tracks. The ongoing track wherein the senior medical administrator is making the professional lives of Dr. Armaan (Sharad Kelkar) and Dr. Nidhi (Kritika Kamra) a living hell, and how this problem is telling on their personal equations is very interesting.

The ongoing track wherein the senior medical administrator is making the professional lives of Dr. Armaan (Sharad Kelkar) and Dr. Nidhi (Kritika Kamra) a living hell, and how this problem is telling on their personal equations is very interesting. Talking about the profession and the huge responsibility doctor shoulder, Sharad exclaims, “After taking up this character of a doctor, I realize how stressful life is for a doctor. You are burdened with the responsibility of a patient’s life. While on one side, we hail health care professionals as God, we also condemn them as devil incarnates if they are negligent. We need to appreciate the fact that they are also humans and can commit mistakes at times. It is very essential that patients and their families need to know that life and death is ultimately in God’s hands only.” Sharad hails his show Kuch Toh Log Kahenge and terms it as ‘different’ from the mundane stuff shown on television, the reason being, “The show is modern and does not have over-the-top drama. We portray the normal day-to-day happenings in the life of our protagonists. I have been part of Saath Phere that ran for 850 episodes, and I wish this Rajan Shahi show too rocks for years to come.” Sharad, may your words come true.
