Colors’ upcoming show Sangharsh, to be produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions has been in the headlines for some time now. 

The show, to deal with the concept of surrogacy is presumed to be based on the movie Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, starring Rani Mukerji, Preity Zinta and Salman Khan. 

As we know, news is out of Siddharth Shukla and Jasmin Bhasin playing the leads. While Jasmin will play the role of Preity, there has been an extensive hunt for the other female lead, the role played by Rani Mukerji in the movie. 

Names like Chhavi Pandey, Tinaa Dattaa, Aishwarya Sakhuja, Kritika Kamra, Sanjeeda Sheikh have been short-listed for the role. 

But now, as per the news we have got, it seems as though Shraddha Arya will in all likelihood bag the role.

As per sources, “Though Sanjeeda looked like bagging the show, advanced talks are presently happening with Shraddha Arya.”

As we know, Shraddha has had a great association with Shashi Sumeet Productions, having played the lead in three of their shows, Main Lakshmi Tere Aangann Ki, Tumhari Pakhi, Dream Girl. 

We tried calling Shraddha, but could not get through to her. 

We buzzed Producer Sumeet Mittal and the channel spokesperson, but did not get any revert till the time of filing the story. 

As reported by us, Shraddha Arya was to play a lawyer in Zee Networks’ upcoming show, Judgement Day. However, the lady moved out of the project recently. 

Guess Shraddha was destined to bag this show… Only time will tell.
