Talented actress Sharmilee Raj, who is presently seen in SAB TV’s Baal Veer will be the next to get an entry into Star Plus’ popular show, Diya Aur Baati Hum (Shashi-Sumeet Productions).

Well, loyal readers of Tellychakkar.com would remember reading about Sarkar Raj fame actor Ravi Kale being roped in to play a naxalite in the show.

Sharmilee now bags the opportunity to play the beautiful wife of the character essayed by Ravi Kale.

As per a reliable source, “Sharmilee will play the Thakurain of the village, with Ravi Kale playing the Thakur. Ravi’s character would have bumped into this beautiful lady who would be very much younger than him, and would have fallen for her beauty. He would have then brought her home after marrying her. Kale’s character will be that of a terrorizing man in the village, but he will be extremely soft-spoken before his wife.”

As for Sharmilee’s character, the lady will be very much proud of her beauty, and will throw her weight around the village as she will be the Thakurain. She will be very straight-forward though, and will know well to prove her point.

When contacted, Sharmilee confirmed her entry in Diya Baati, but chose not to talk further as she has not started shoot yet.

Sharmilee will also be seen in Sony TV’s upcoming show, Jaane Kya Hoga Aage too.

As we know, Aadesh Chaudhary and Ekta Tiwari will also be entering Diya Aur Baati Hum very soon.
