‘Patriotic fervour’ is soon to hit television shows, with Independence Day being around the corner. Colors’ long-running show, Balika Vadhu produced by Sphereorigins will be one of the first shows to cash in on the chord of ‘patriotism’, when Shiv, the duty-bound collector would prevent a major bomb attack on the Chief Minister. A source states, “The Chief Minister would be gracing a public event on the occasion of Independence Day when Shiv (Siddharth Shukla) will get to know of a bomb attack planned in the particular venue to kill the CM. Shiv would heroically save the CM and also dismantle the bomb on time, thus saving many lives.” This particular sequence will go on air this Friday (15 August). We tried calling Siddharth, but did not get through to him. Get ready to watch this drama in Balika Vadhu.
