It’s a cat and mouse fight between the two ladies of Raghu (Arhaan Behll) in Zee TV’s Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se (produced by FilmFarm India). While Shivani (Mansi Srivastava) is desperate to make her marriage with Raghu fruitful, Sumitra (Yashashri Masurkar) is trying her best to throw Shivani out of Raghu’s life. And for Raghu, both the girls’ happiness matters and he simply cannot offend any of them. Well, so what speaketh the future? We hear that it will be Raghu’s mother Lata (Shubhangi Latkar) who will initiate to call the shots from here on. Lata has always had a strong role to play in Raghu’s life. And in the ongoing episodes, she has been shown to be a woman who walks the righteous path. A source says, “With Shivani tearing the divorce papers, she will soon insist Raghu to get back her mangalsutra. Raghu initially will not agree. But Shivani will threaten by placing her hand on the burning lamp and state that she will remove it only after Raghu returns her mangalsutra. Raghu will oblige to this, and give her the mangalsutra. A passive Lata will watch this happen. Soon, there will be a confrontation between Raghu and Sumitra wherein Raghu will convince Sumitra that he will marry her and keep her happy as per his promise. This will stun Lata, as she will see her son torn between both the women, not able to choose one.” All this will force Lata to talk to Raghu who will tell her that he does not intend to hurt both Sumitra and Shivani. This will be when Lata will take control of things, and will tell Raghu that in seven days’ time she will decide who the best girl for Raghu is. Raghu will accept his mother’s decision and tell her that he will marry the girl she would choose. Thereby, Lata will decide to keep an eye on both the girls – Sumitra and Shivani for the next one week, after which she would choose the right girl for Raghu. However, the twist in the tale here would be that Sumitra will overhear this entire conversation, and will be determined to get into the good books of Lata in the days to come. On the other hand, Shivani will be clueless of Lata’s stand. When contacted, Shubhangi Latkar told us, “Well, my role is getting stronger by the day, and I am enjoying playing my part. Recently, I slapped Maya and even fought with goons to save Babyji. So I have a lot to do in the show. Let’s see what is coming ahead.” How will Lata choose Raghu’s bride-to-be?
