MUMBAI: Child artiste Shivlekh Singh, who has worked in shows like Sasural Simar Ka, Kesari Nandan and Sriman Srimati, lost his life on Thursday, in their car collision with truck.
Shivlekh was the only son of his parents, Shivendra Singh and Lekhna. Recently, in an interview with SpotboyE.com, Shivendra said that they used to stay largely in Raipur. "We had come to Bilaspur for some personal work, it was not media interaction (contrary to reports). We were driving back home and then it was all over. The driver was hurt. My wife and I blanked out and when we woke up, we realised that our son was gone. I don't know what hit him; in fact, he was not even sitting in the front. We were rushed to the hospital but..."
Shivendra's last rites have been done and his father further informed that he, his wife and driver are out of danger. He told the portal, "It was the truck driver's fault and I don't know if he has been arrested. Shivlekh was my only child."
