Shivshakti to act; Rithvik to sing in Star Plus

Star Plus has planned a special gift for all the women on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The channel has always churned out some powerful women centric shows over the years.  

This year, Star Plus has attempted to salute the spirit of women with its new initiative - Anmol Hai Tu - Nayi Soch ko Salaam. And the event will be hosted by Bollywood womaniya Huma Qureshi.

TV divas Mouni Roy, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Shakti Mohan and Sargun Mehta will sizzle the stage with dance performances.

Also TV hottie and multitalented Rithvik Dhanjani will make his singing debut by crooning on different Bollywood melodies on his  guitar.

Furthermore, the event will have an eye-opening drama on the famous social activist Sindhutai Sapkal, the role of whom will be played by TV actress Shivshakti Sachdev.

Shared the actress, “It was an honour playing Sindhutai on-screen. I have met her in person. I am really inspired with what she is doing for the orphan kids. A big salute to her.”

The show will be aired on Star Plus on International Women's Day March 8 at 9pm.
