MUMBAI: Bhagya Lakshmi just began two weeks ago, and the serial is doing pretty well. It is among the top 20 shows when it comes to the BARC ratings. 

The show stars Aishwarya Khare and Rohit Suchanti and is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms. 

Laxmi is an endearing and simple girl who is close to her family and who voices her opinion for the right. 

But did you know that before finalizing Aishwarya Khare, the role of Laxmi was offered to many actresses who had refused the role?

1. Surbhi Jyoti

3. Divyanka Tripathi

Eisha is a very successful actress on television, best known as Zara of Ishq Subhan Allah. She took was offered the role of Laxmi but denied it as she is on a break from television. 

5. Surbhi Chandna

Surbhi is not less than a superstar on television. She rose to fame with her performance in serials like Ishqbazz and Naagin 5. She declined the offer of Laxmi as she was busy with some other commitments. 

Well, in the end, the role was bagged by Aishwarya Khare, and fans feel she is the perfect choice for the role and no one could do justice to Laxmi the way she did.
