Big Magic’s Akbar Birbal (Triangle Films) which recently went under a revamp is all set to see a replacement.

Recently we wrote about Veera fame Vishavpreet Kaur roped in to play the central character of Maham Anga. But now we have information that the actress has moved out of the project. And makers have now signed the Hum Paanch fame Shoma Anand to play Akbar’s caretaker.

But why the sudden replacement?

We buzzed Vishavpreet, who shared, “After shooting for six episodes makers thought that I was too young for the character. Hence it was a mutual decision and I moved out of the show. And even I wasn’t comfortable playing the role.”

An excited Shoma Anand confirming the news shared, “Yes, I am playing the character of Maham Anga and I am really looking forward to my entry. After a long I am making a comeback on small screen. The first thing that excited me to take up this show was its uniqueness. My role will have blend of laughter, negative and at the same time emotional feel. I can say that I will be the garam masala in the show which audience will enjoy watching.”
