Actress Shritama Mukherjee, who is busy shooting for Life OK serial Gustakh Dil is planning to head for a holiday to Goa. Her show Gustakh Dil, as reported, will go off air next month. The actor said that currently she is busy for the shooting of her ongoing show which will be wrapped up soon. “After Gustakh Dil ends I am not planning to take up any new shows, instead I have decided to go for a holiday to Goa to take a break”. When Shritama was asked about her experience working in Gustakh Dil, the actor said, “Though I was a part of this project for a really short time, only for two months, I have enjoyed being a part of it.” The actor has earlier played a similar kind of role of rich, spoilt child of the family in the serial Dekha Ek Khwaab on Sony TV. When Shritama was asked about the similarities of these two characters, she replied, “I won’t say that the character of Jainandini was entirely negative”. “We tend to make a character either pure ‘sati-savitri’ type or a negative one. But no one is absolutely black or white. Jainandini belonged to a royal family, where she received all the attention throughout her life, but all of a sudden her sister took that place and became the centre of attention. Due to such shift, she became jealous and created problems for her sister”. “Whereas, if you take a look at Jasmine’s character in Gustakh, you will find she is psychotic. She has been raised as a rich kid, she will try to get what she wants at any cost. This is the difference between these two characters. Jainandini was very much humane, whatever she did was out of mere jealousy”, added the pretty girl. The actress also added that she is doing a regional film for which she will be busy after her show.
