The battle for the ‘lead role’ continues!!!

We are referring to Shoonya Square Production’s upcoming show (yet to be titled) on Star Plus. Shoonya has already proved its creative and production mettle via Thapki on Colors.

Tellychakkar.com has been constantly following the developments in the project and the latest we have learnt is that there is a change in plans pertaining to the portrayal of the lead character.

We reported about Qubool Hai fame actor Shubhashish Jha being brought on board for the project. However, now the maker has decided to give Shubhashish a pass and bring in Kanwar Dhillon.

“Kanwar is the final choice and he will soon sign the contract,” reveals a source.

Well, one man’s loss is another man’s gain.

The core plot will revolve around an atheist girl, to be played by newbie Tina Philip, who hails from Manchester, United Kingdom. 

We buzzed Kanwar and producer Dheeraj Sarna of Shoonya but they both remained unavailable to comment.

The other popular actors who are part of the show are Manasi Salvi, Vivek Mushran, Pallavi Rao, Anita Kulkarni, Palak Jain, Supriya Sarna and Lily Patel (as reported by us).
