In a recent contest on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi wherein there were 27 TV personalities contesting, actress Shweta Keswani emerged as the winner. The contest was on Lord Ganpati paintings and it was judged by Shekhar Suman. The contest ran for a span of four days from 8 of September to 11 September. Shekhar who closely assessed and analysed the work and talent of the TV celebs decided on Shweta’s painting. He said, “The winning painting is the one that attracts your attention immediately as you enter the room. And Shweta’s painting stands out.” When contacted an elated Shweta said, “It feels great to win an award. With 27 TV personalities I doubted my chances of winning but I think Lord Ganpati has blessed me with this award. I am going to cherish the award which is a Ganesha idol.” The other celebrities included Sara Khan, Parul Chauhan, Aadesh Srivastava, Shankar Mahadevan, Divyanka Tripathi, Sharad Malhotra, Kamya Punjabi, Aneek Dhar, Raja Hassan, Khushi Dubey, Dhairya, Sucheta Trivedi, Bhakhtiyar Irani, Chaitanya Chaudhary, Megha Gupta, Deepak Gheewala, Rohanpreet, Abhishek Awasthi. The event will be telecast tomorrow September 12 at 1:30 pm on Zee News.
