Zee TV is certainly on a roll!! With Shakuntalam Telefilms’ ‘Hello Pratibha’ ready for its launch, the channel is working hard on its upcoming projects to provide more variety to their already flourishing programming line-up. Earlier in the day, Tellychakkar.com exclusively reported about two new shows to be seen on Zee TV, one by Raakesh Paswan’s Village Boy Productions and the other coming from Rashmi Sharma Productions. Well, we now have information on the channel’s third upcoming show. And this is from the stables of Sphere Origins, who have their popular long-running show Balika Vadhu on Colors. Siddhant Karnick, the young and talented actor who recently got popular for his role in Life OK’s Gustakh Dil will be the lead on the show. Sphere Origins will be making a period love story set up in the days of the freedom struggle. And Siddhant we hear, is all set to essay the role of the central lead character, that of a widower who always pines for his dead wife. We could not get through to Siddhant though. Our efforts to reach Producer Sunjoy Wadhwa were in vain. We could not get any revert from the channel spokesperson too. Siddhant was earlier touted to play the lead in Cinevistaas’ upcoming project for Zee &(and). But that role has now gone to Aamir Ali. We wish Siddhant and of course, the show all the very best.
