Tonight's episode of Indian Idol will have the charismatic and talented singer Sonu Nigam who has been staying out of the media glare for more than a year now. He will make a special appearance in the show as a guest judge for the evening. Our Khabru reveals that Sonu was quite impressed by the young talent and expressed his desire to be a part of the show. One of his ardent fans, Emon Chaterjee says, "It feels great to see whom I admire the most. It was a dream come true moment for me. I am speechless. I was thrilled to see him in front of me. He is my god. Now, winning does not matter to me anymore. I'll be happy even if get eliminated." Sonu was one of the three judges in last two seasons of the show along with Anu Malek and Farah Khan. He could not be a part of the show this time due to his shows abroad. Tonight Emon will set the mood for the evening with Kal Ho Na Ho. Even the girls were not behind and they too sang some of Sonu's favourite songs. "I don't think Emon or any one else copy my style of singing. He sings in his original voice and it's great! They all are very good singers," says Sonu. All the performances on stage were not enough, that's when Sonu Nigam along with Emon decided to bring down house with their antics. They both copied Udit Narayan's voice and style of singing. On this Javed Akhtar said to Udit Narayan, "You can never be as good as Sonu in mimicry." Sonu was highly impressed with Emon's performance and before leaving the show he presented a memento to him. Incidently, Sonu Nigam will also be seen in Amul Star Voice of India. Immense talents of all the budding contestants of ASVOI will indulge him to come and witness the musical battle tonight on Star Plus. Well! All we can say is great going Sonu.
