The sets of Star Plus’ popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is exuberating with excitement as the daily will air its 1,400th episode tonight (7 April). A round of applause for this Directors Kut-produced show!! Earlier this year, Yeh Rishta… had completed five successful years. It is currently going pretty strong on the TVT charts till date. The show brought about the topic of arranged marriage and the growth in the relationship of the lead couple, Akshara and Naitik. Also, focusing on the normal daily issues and highlighting social causes, Yeh Rishta… has been receiving warm responses from viewers all along. The show’s ensemble cast is also appreciated of which the lead pair of Karan Mehra and Hina Khan are a favourite among the masses. And tonight, this daily will complete another milestone of completing a whooping 1,400 episodes. Talking on the same, Karan, who plays Naitik, shares, “This has been a wonderful journey and I hope it continues growing further in the coming days. After every 100 episodes, I think the responsibility rises among the team to produce better content in the coming days. It’s all because of the hard work of the entire team that the show is doing so well. And I think by the standard that we have achieved, we need to work even harder to keep the show going.” “We have all given our heart and soul to this project and it’s been more than five years that we are all here like a big family. It’s currently the oldest show on Star Plus and I think we still have a long journey to go.
