Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta, the long running show produced by Balaji Telefilms have put up a grand Ganesh Chaturthi Special Episode which will be aired tomorrow (22 September 2012) from 7.30 pm to 9 pm. The star-studded extravaganza will have performances coming from celebrities. We have already mentioned about Gaurav Chopraa’s tandav nritya sequence. But we have just learnt that more celebs will also be a part of the show. Ravi Dubey who was added into the list as a last-minute replacement to Gurmeet Choudhary (who backed out due to personal reasons) performed on Chinta ta. Ankit Gera and Roopal Tyagi of Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke performed a romantic act on ‘Tum Ho’. Sayantani Ghosh sizzled to a Kathak number on the song Man Mohini.. Kratika Sengarr of Punar Vivah put her best foot forward as she did Bharatnatyam on the same number Man Mohini. Nararani Shastri’s Bharatnatyam act on the number Jiya Jale set the stage on fire. The other stars who danced for Ganpati Bappa included Nandish Sandhu, Kinshuk Mahajan, Gulki Joshi. Apart from them, Hiten Tejwani, Ankita Lokhande, Rithwik Dhanjani, Asha Negi were seen performing spectacular acts. The cast of Pavitra Rishta did the Ganesh Vandana also. When contacted, Narayani Shastri confirmed the news saying, “Yes, it was a wonderful experience, Harshal choreographed my Bharatnatyam act and I enjoyed it.” Sayantani too shared with us the excitement of shooting for the Ganpati special episode saying, “I performed a Kathak dance on Man Mohini from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. It was great fun as I got to see the Ganpati Visarjan too.” Amidst the festive atmosphere, the story too takes to a new high as Soham (Ankit Narang) plans to steal the jewels that are put on Ganpati bappa. Varsha (Priya Marathe) comes to stop him, but before she gets successful, Purvi (Asha Negi) sees her. Purvi explains it out to Archana (Ankita Lokhande) that Varsha is indeed alive. However, Archana refuses to believe that Varsha is alive. But after seeing the reception pictures in which Varsha is present, Archana gets a ray of hope that she will at last be able to see her son.
